Analysis of Business Education in the Banking Sector

Bachelor thesis titled "The Analysis of Business Education in the Banking Sector" is focused on the analysis of education in selected banking institution with a focus on educational forms and methods. The survey research was conducted in Komerční banka, a.s.. The theoretical part describes company education with definition of specifics, rules and principles for emloyee education. There is a description of strategic approach to employees along with company education system, which is focused on phases of the training cycle. The thesis deals with characteristic forms and methods of education with the pros and cons of selected methods. The practical part is aimed at banking institution education system analysis. Exploration methods are semi-structured interview with internal trainers of KB and heads of department sub School Branches KB, observation of Basic seminar for bank advisor of KB with describing practiced methods and forms of education, analysis of scientific literature and materials provided by KB. The thesis conclusions suggest proposals to improve the functioning and effectiveness of education in KB.
Employee training and development in company Kovolis Hedvikov a.s.

This thesis analyzes the approach to education in company Kovolis Hedvikov a.s. The aim is to assess its benefits for the company, effectiveness of the training, employee satisfaction with their own improvement and possible future development in the company. The first part is devoted to the theoretical starting-points, such as theory of learning, forms and methods of education and development, identification of training needs, legislative requirements for staff training, etc. The practical part describes the actual corporate strategy, training methods used, all the activities necessary for providing training, planned educational events, exploiting opportunities for education and utilization of funds for training, staff motivation to learn and develop. On the basis of these data the thesis identifies weaknesses in the actual approach to employee development. Finally, there are described recommendations for next steps, which may have a positive impact on long-term operation of the company.
